Top 5 Takeaways from MPI WEC 2013

DoubleDutch had a wonderful time in Sin City at MPI's World Education Congress. Whether you stopped by our booth or played blackjack with us on Twitter, we wanted to say thanks to everyone at MPI for welcoming us in Las Vegas by giving you our Top 5 Takeaways.

Top 5 Takeaways from MPI WEC:

1.  Candy Chang delivered a compelling and inspirational message during the general session.  "You don’t need a big budget to make an impact,” she says. We're doing big things in the industry by starting small.

2.  “We’re living in a world that demands perfection and authenticity,” says Connie Dieken.  She urged attendees to answer the question: How do people size you up? “Do they see you as the real deal,” she asks.

3.  “You have to constantly educate and communicate to people about your point of view,” says Alexis Herman, the first African American U.S. labor secretary. Herman closed her talk with a message of unity. “We’re all in this together,” she said. “The better some of us do, the better the rest of us do.”

4.  3,622 Hosted Buyer Program appointments were conducted over two days at #WEC13! Great job #MPI!

5.  Billy Idol can still really rock a crowd! The DoubleDutch team enjoyed ROCKING OUT to Billy!

Thank you @MPI for hosting us. Our team had an amazing time and we can't wait for Minneapolis next year!
